This Privacy Policy explains how Metrix Digital ("Metrix Digital," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit metrixdigital.com (the "Site"), contact us, or authorize us to manage social media Pages on your behalf. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit the contact form on our Start a project page, we collect your name, email address, company (optional), and the contents of your message.
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, referring pages, browser and device type, and approximate location. See "Cookies and Analytics" below.
Social platform data. When a client authorizes us to manage their Facebook Page, Instagram business account, or LinkedIn company Page, we access Page-level data as described in "Social Platform Data" below.
The Site does not offer user accounts or a newsletter, and it does not use advertising pixels.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and manage our business relationship with you.
- To report social media performance to the client who authorized access, and to manage that client's content.
- To understand Site traffic and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
Contact Form Submissions
Contact form submissions are delivered by email to hello@metrixdigital.com through our email delivery provider, Resend, and may also be recorded as a lead in our customer relationship management (CRM) system. We use this information only to respond to you and to manage our business relationship with you. We do not sell it.
Social Platform Data
Metrix Digital manages social media presences for its clients. When a client authorizes Metrix Digital to manage their Facebook Page, Instagram business account, or LinkedIn company Page, our applications access Page-level data through the official application programming interfaces (APIs) provided by Meta and LinkedIn. This data includes:
- Page and post performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, followers, clicks, and views.
- The content of posts published on the Page.
- Where the client enables publishing, the ability to create and publish posts that the client has approved.
We use this data only to report performance to the client who authorized access and to manage that client's content. We do not sell this data, we do not use it for advertising profiling of individuals, and we do not share it with third parties other than service providers that host our systems.
Access tokens issued by the platforms are stored as server-side secrets and are not exposed in any browser or public location. Clients can revoke our access at any time in their Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn settings.
Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets Google cookies to measure Site usage. You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings or privacy tools. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, and where required by law. These providers are:
- Railway, which hosts the Site and our systems.
- Resend, which delivers contact form submissions to us by email.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics 4 and serves the fonts used on the Site (Google Fonts).
- Cloudflare, which stores and serves the images, video and other media on the Site.
Data Retention
We keep contact form inquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship. We keep social platform metrics while the client relationship is active, and we delete them on request or after the relationship ends.
Data Deletion
Social platform data. To request deletion of data we hold about a Facebook Page, Instagram business account, or LinkedIn company Page, email hello@metrixdigital.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and identify the Page or account. We will delete the associated data within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email. Revoking our application's access in your Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn settings stops any further collection.
Contact form submissions. To have a contact form submission removed, email hello@metrixdigital.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address you used on the form. We will delete the submission within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
California Residents' Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it, and the right to request that we delete it. To exercise these rights, email hello@metrixdigital.com. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
