A Magento commerce build for a home-furnishings brand
Abbyson
Abbyson sells furniture people commit to online, sight unseen. That puts the whole burden of the sale on the store — so we built theirs on Magento.
Abbyson is a home-furnishings brand. Furniture is one of the harder things to sell online — it’s high-consideration, high-ticket, and intensely visual, and the customer is committing to a sofa or a bedroom set they’ll never touch before it arrives. The website isn’t a brochure for that buyer. It’s the showroom, the salesperson, and the proof all at once.
What we did
We built Abbyson’s e-commerce store on Magento (Adobe Commerce) — the platform that holds up under a deep, complex furniture catalog: collections, configurable products, room sets, and the merchandising that a real home-furnishings range demands. The work was the foundation underneath the storefront, engineered so the catalog could grow without the site fighting it.
Why Magento
Lightweight platforms are fine until the catalog gets serious. Furniture is variants on variants — finishes, sizes, sets, collections — and Magento is built for exactly that depth. We chose the platform to match the business, then built it to run, not just to launch.
